#122114

We never spoke of marriage.
We never spoke of children.
We never spoke of a future at all,
yet,
I (thought) I loved you fiercely...
Yes,
I thought I did.

I was dependent on you.
It wasn't as though you offered
substance
or
serenity
or
security
or
ANYTHING
substantial.
You were more of a ghost of a relationship.
A figment of my imagination.
An imaginary friend.
So,
when asked if I missed you,
how could I?
There was never enough of you to miss....
